Eva Brune has more than 20 years of experience in brand management, communications and social media in such diverse fields as apparel, retail, entertainment and nonprofits.
Eva’s passion lies in the nonprofit sector and as part of the SMPA team, Eva has spearheaded efforts to best position the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, Generation 1st Degree – Pico Rivera, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, WaterWise Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, Santa Monica, Malibu Unified School District, Tierra del Sol and Gold Coast Health Plan in the digital realm. Her sweet spot is evaluating, understanding and strategizing a way forward for organizations via effective website architecture and design, comprehensive digital and social media strategies and effective branding, presentations and copy.
Eva also served the National Health Foundation in the role of social media manager revamping their website presence, establishing social media as a core marketing activity, creating and maintaining a digital presence for the CEO and creating a legacy of blogs and articles to promote the evolving mandate of the organization.
Prior to joining SMPA, Eva was a digital manager with California Community Foundation and a digital manager with Los Angeles Universal Preschool, now 360 Child. Her earlier career saw her as senior fashion editor and brand strategist with Fashionsnoops, a leading global trend forecaster serving the apparel, accessory, home and beauty markets.
An avid yogi, Eva works to bring yoga to cancer survivors, the elderly and her community through public, private and online classes.
