Jenna Perkovich is a seasoned digital marketer with extensive public relations, marketing, and community engagement work under her belt.
At SMPA, Jenna works with government relations, crisis communications, coalition building and stakeholder engagement clients that require her to understand complex issues involving multiple groups of people. Jenna believes that effective project leadership is an art—more than anything it requires different individuals with diverse backgrounds to actively collaborate and work toward a common goal. She is your go-to in building community support, distributing clear messaging, implementing digital and social media campaigns, facilitating advertising buys, and building trust between client and community while pushing projects forward.
Prior to her work at SMPA, Jenna worked in corporate tech sales in Silicon Valley where she built and maintained long-term client relationships, managed multiple sales campaigns, developed crucial time management and organizational skills, and learned the art of persuasive storytelling. She took these transferable skills back to her roots in the communications industry and served as the brand strategies manager for a local product development company. There, she developed and implemented all aspects of public relations campaigns and developed comprehensive social media strategy.
Driven by her desire to strengthen local communities, Jenna takes pride in building and executing effective communication strategies for her clients.
Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In her spare time, you can find her watching sports or going to a game, reading, making new recipes, traveling, and doing anything active like hiking—she most recently completed Half Dome in Yosemite. She balances all that activity with a proper Netflix binge.
